The Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 is an international, multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth that is scheduled to be held in Birmingham, England in 2022. It will be the third time that the Commonwealth Games have been held in England, after London in 1934 and Manchester in 2002. The Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022 will be a spectacular event. Athletes from all over the world will come to Birmingham to compete in a range of different sports. It will be an amazing opportunity to see some of the world’s best athletes in action, and to see Birmingham on the world stage.
The 2022 Commonwealth Games, it is the XXII th Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022. The Games was the largest ever held, with 72 participating nations and ticket sales of 1.2 million. It was also the first major international multi-sports event to be an integrated event, meaning that the para and non-para games are held at the same time. In addition, it was the first game to host more women’s gold medals than men’s.

Total Venues of Commonwealth Games 2022 Birmingham:
Birmingham 2022 took place in 15 venues spread across the West Midlands region, with seven of them, including the athletics stadium and marathon route, located in the city of Birmingham. The National Exhibition Centre complex, located on the fringes of the city in neighbouring Solihull, hosted events in its exhibition halls and at the NEC Arena. The six other regional hosts were Coventry, Cannock Chase, Royal Leamington Spa, Sandwell, Warwick and Wolverhampton. A sixteenth venue, the Lee Valley VeloPark in Stratford, East London, hosted the track cycling.
